Gate task force charter 8/6/2012
The charter for the Gate Task Force is to review the existing gate system operation and make recommendations relative to the operations of those gates when the builder completes the last house later this year or early next year.
This should include a plan to cover the potential for any of the following:
--Estimates of traffic volume during the day and the night periods and capability of the gate system to handle this volume in any planned mode.
--Operational modes to be used at different times. (i.e. full gate set, swing gates, barrier gates).
--Hours of operations during day & night.
--System upgrades necessary to support those operations (both hardware & software).
--Changes to monitoring system.
--Changes to lighting, signage and lane markings.
--System to prevent vehicles entering through the exit gates. (this is extensively occurring at night).
--Funding requirements and schedules for implementation.
--Other areas that the TF might uncover as necessary to handle the traffic load.
